The Wonderful World of Animals
My dream client would be to work with animals. I have realized over the years how much I love animals and I want to help them in any way I can. I think it would be fun to photograph as well as work with social media to get more people interested in visiting and saving animals. I think it would also be beneficial to do some behind the scenes videos and photos and work with the zookeepers. I am very interested in knowing and photographing all kinds of animals. I not only want to work at a zoo, I want to travel the world. I may add researching to photographing the animals I see on my journeys.
My favorite animal is a Red Panda. The Red Panda is a part of the raccoon family so it is not really a panda. I do not know what it is about them but they just seem so playful and full of life. I donate to the Erie Zoo frequently, mainly to their Red Panda exhibit. Even though I do not live in Erie, I feel I am connected more through my family and to the zoo. Every year when I go back to Erie I always want to go to the zoo. I enjoy photographing all of the animals that are in the exhibits. I feel the Erie zoo is a wonderful place and they do amazing conservation work.
In the future, I hope to not only work for the Erie Zoo but maybe other zoos across the country. I know that zoos are not liked by some people but this is the only way I can get close enough to any animal. I did not grow up with pets so going to any kind of zoo was my way of getting to know animals. Photographing animals has always been a passion of mine but I do not know where to take that dream. Animals will always be a part of me and hopefully one day my photography dreams as well.
